Rod Stabler is a fifth generation woodworker and retired cabinetmaker who enjoys the challenge of creating useful and practical woodcraft with a flair, celebrating each piece of wood for its individual beauty and character.  Rod builds each one of a kind piece to be pleasant to the eye and useful to everyday living.  "It is the portrait of an artisan who strives to find the ideal use for each plank in order to create an object of utility to man and, if nature smiles, an object of beauty."  George Nakashima
