 My art is inspired by the beauty and intricacy of the natural world, which I see as a sign or reflection of our Creator’s love for us all. With painting and drawing I strive to create my unique impression of natural objects and scenery, not exact photographically realistic images. I want to capture the mood, depth and spirit of nature.

After a hiatus from the art world for some 20 years, my husband and I moved to Pennsylvania and I was re-inspired by the special beauty of nature in the Liberty Valley to once again begin painting. Here, with the Appalachian Mountains as a backdrop, we have restored an 18th century home and are enjoying the peace that comes from raising sheep, preparing their fiber and growing and selling cut flowers.
